Ingenjörsbyrå Kronqvist is taking the next step by further strengthening its internal expertise and establishing its own architectural team with two architects. This initiative forms part of the Kronqvist Group’s long-term strategy to create more cohesive, efficient, and predictable construction projects.
By bringing architecture, planning, design engineering, and construction execution together within the same organization, better conditions are created for a holistic approach, coordination, and quality throughout the entire process.
“Our ambition is not to do everything for everyone, but to take overall responsibility where it is requested. By having all the pieces of the puzzle within our organization, we create better interaction between ideas, functionality, and implementation,” says Marcus Jansson, CEO of Ingenjörsbyrå Kronqvist.
Since its founding, Ingenjörsbyrå Kronqvist has offered both master planning and architectural services, often in close collaboration with external architects. In 2025, the company strengthened its in-house architectural expertise by hiring building architect Sanna Bemeleit-Behr. Demand quickly proved to be strong, leading to the recruitment of an additional architect in December 2025, Linda Gran, SAFA architect.
The SAFA title is well established in Finland and signifies a high professional standard, solid education, and professionalism.
“For clients with projects in Finland, or for assignments where Nordic standards are particularly important, this provides additional security and quality assurance,” says Linda Gran.
Having two architects who complement the company’s existing interior architects and structural engineers creates clear added value for both external clients and the group’s own projects. The architects’ presence in daily planning and design work makes it possible to integrate functionality, aesthetics, and user-friendliness early in the process, while ensuring that solutions are grounded in technical and practical feasibility.
Architectural services include, among other things, pre-planning, system design documentation, and building permit processes. This enables the company to take overall responsibility when requested, as a complement to external collaborations. With architects, interior architects, and structural engineers under the same roof, a natural dialogue is created where ideas and technical solutions can be continuously tested and developed.
“It is about increasing clarity and ensuring that ideas, functionality, cost, and implementation are aligned. For our clients, this means a more secure process with fewer contact persons and better control over the project as a whole” says Marcus Jansson.
The initiative aligns with the Kronqvist Group’s overall goal of offering long-term and sustainable solutions with a focus on quality, collaboration, and responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycle.
